Incredibly simple dive planner.

DiveMax Air is a fast and incredibly simple mobile dive planner that provides safe dive plans for recreational divers who plan their own dives. It also allows the user to modify the plan in real-time. Picture yourself on the deck of a dive boat. It’s a sunny morning and the ocean is calm and inviting. You and your diving group are getting ready to jump in the water. The others pick up their RDP tables, pens and papers and start calculating their first dive. You take your smartphone, open DiveMax and with a few simple finger strokes plan safe dives for the whole day within just 20 seconds. You and your buddy can hit the waters before the others have even finished planning their first dive. Picture yourself back on the boat after the first dive. You followed a turtle a little deeper than you had planned or stayed a bit longer in the maximum depth, so now you need to modify the plan for the following dives. While the others need to erase the old plans and start over with the RDP tables, you go back to your DiveMax plan and simply move the first diver according to the executed dive, and DiveMax automatically calculates the effects on the subsequent dives. With the updated dive plan quickly taken care of, you can take it easy and enjoy the break until it is time to dive again. EASY & INFORMATIVESimply touch the diver with your finger to move him; DiveMax immediately calculates the effects in real time and shows them in an informative graph. DiveMax also clearly indicates when your plan is safe and executable.SAFECalculations on effects of nitrogen pressure in tissues are based on Dr. Albert A. Bühlmanns decompression algorithm, the same algorithm used in dive computers. Compared to traditional RDP tables, planning dives with DiveMax eliminates the possibility of human errors as all calculations are always done by computer. ACKNOWLEDGEDPreviously known as DiveX, the application was awarded as the best mobile sports application in the global Calling All Innovators 2011 competition.By recommendation from DAN, flight time after second dive increased to 24h.

Prefectly simple. 5 stars if safety stop could be modified or at least set in a preference. Also a text help file with further help would be nice. Can't find previous dive profiles / pictures.

A 60 foot dive for 30 mins shouldn't require a decompression stop according to my dive planner, but this app says it is. How do I get a refund?

But the surface intervals seem lax to me. I need more information before I'd be comfortable using it. What dive tables are being using? PADI, SSI? I'd also like the option to see more details on pressure groups, residual times, etc. I guess I need options to make it "not so easy.". :)

Great app, worth the money. Saved a lot of time planning for my dives.

Would be nice to see a "min surface interval" selection button when you double click the boat. You could then plan multiple dives and know the minimum interval between them.

Great app. The only enhancement that springs to mind at this stage would be the ability to configure the parameters for the safety stop, especially the time (either with a dialogue against each safety stop, or just in the preferences for all safety stops). The dive operators, schools and clubs here in Victoria, Australia, tend to do 5 metres for 5 minutes, whereas the app looks to have 5 metres for 3 minutes hardcoded. I know it's only a small difference, but it all helps. I'll rate as 5 stars, if I can do that. Cheers!

Great app guys. Its simple and fast, just the way i like it! :) Seems you have EANX version also available...

Best UI i've seen in any dive planner. If one could just adjust the decompression model for a single EANx gas it would be great.

Getting to the optimize function is annoying. If the diver moves at all as you hold your finger, the optimize menu will not appear.

Please can you add an option to set your air mix. Currently it assumes you're diving on air. Add presure groups too. 5 stars if this is added.
